Typical charges for cleaning, disinfecting, and adjusting Piccolos, Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Trumpets, Trombones are under $50 and less than 2 weeks. (Rush orders are also accepted when time permits.)
"Play conditions" are usually less than $100, but may be more depending on the actual 'condition'.
Complete overhauls of instruments are also available, time permitting. Usually such extreme reconditioning is reserved only for those instruments truly in need, instead of your being required to have complete overhauls on instruments that only need a few pads or corks. We are willing to work within your budget and time frame! (Most complete overhauls on Student Flutes and Clarinets are $250. Professional models slightly higher, depending on condition. Alto Saxophone complete overhauls run about $400-$450.)
Please Note: We reserve the right to refuse taking in an instrument for repair when we feel that a satisfactory job cannot be done. Often such instruments are manufactured to such poor specifications that metal parts bend too easily or parts cannot be adjusted in the usual manner. Sometimes instruments are poorly manufactured in such a way that they are too fragile to repair, and so we cannot risk liability.
Also, Mr. Cramer does not replace "just that one pad that fell out" when it is clear that other pads must be replaced to put the instrument in the most basic playable condition. However, every effort will be made to repair instruments according to 'need' in both time and budget.
Mr. Cramer plans to continue repairs
after the store is closed.
